Jo, a French man with a passion for New Zealand, has been living and working in New Zealand for the last 8 years, in New Zealand’s Northland – a region not generally showered with attention. He is a circus teacher and performer for a community-based organization that promotes circus for people of all abilities. Jo loves his job and had a visa that allowed him to work exclusively there.

Jo also loves Amy. But the New Zealand visa regulations only allow people who are living together to apply for a partnership visa … not an easy thing if you’re working 200km away from the love of your life and the family situation makes it impossible for her to move in with you!

However, AccessNZ managed to find a way and pathway to residence for Jo. We are delighted for Jo and wish him and Amy all the best for their new life together in the Big Smoke.
